The MARK-9 FOUNDATION is near and dear to our hearts. The founder and head veterinarian, Dr. Alexis Newman, saved my patrol dog's life when he needed multiple emergency surgeries. So, I personally ask you to please help support those that supported us in keeping our communities safe.
K9 Pedro was assigned to me in 2011, retiring in 2019. I had the privilege of working with Pedro for 8 years of service as a duel purpose Explosive Detection & Patrol K9. We had the opportunity to work all over the country together. Deployments for NATO, the Boston Marathon Bombing and Hurricane Harvey as well as several celebrity details. Not only did he love to socialize with the public, but he was also an exceptional detection K9, recognized with several titles at the K9 National Olympics. Thank you, Pedro, for being by my side for over a decade. Pedro passed at the age of 13.
